Germany to Launch National Problem Gambling Awareness Program
Germany has announced plans to launch a nationwide awareness program aimed at tackling problem gambling, particularly in the online sector. The program will focus on educating the public about the risks of gambling addiction and providing resources for those who need help.

As part of the initiative, a dedicated website will be launched, offering self-assessment tools, counseling services, and information about self-exclusion options. The program will also include training for frontline staff in the gambling industry to help them identify and assist at-risk players.
The German government hopes that the program will complement its existing regulatory framework and further reduce gambling-related harm.
